Offering an approach that combines psychotherapy, brain science, and somatic experiencing. Working at this dynamic intersection of brain, body, and mind we help clients resolve long-standing issues using drug-free and non-invasive therapies. While psychotherapy opens the mind and calms emotions, neurofeedback regulates the brain. Hypnotherapy and meditation can help clients integrate changes.

What is a session like?

During the Neurofeedback session, we modify brainwave activity subconsciously using a painless, non-invasive treatment approach that allows us to gain information about the patient’s brainwave activity and use that information to produce positive changes in brainwave activity. During a session patients are trained through the use of computerized biofeedback equipment to change their brainwave activity.

Neurofeedback Therapy

Every brain is a masterpiece of complexity and individuality. With approximately 100 billion neurons, each connected by up to 10,000 synapses, the brain operates at speeds that are beyond our perception—firing at a rate of 1/1,000 of a second. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by strong emotions or suddenly triggered, you've witnessed just a small glimpse of the incredible power and intricate systems at work beneath the surface.

When the brain is healthy, balanced, and in a state of relaxation, it functions optimally. However, when this delicate balance is disrupted—whether due to stress, trauma, or ongoing emotional challenges—the effects can be felt as anxiety, depression, and a host of other conditions.

Neurofeedback offers a path to restore control and bring balance back to the brain. By helping the brain regulate itself and create new, healthier neural pathways, it provides the opportunity to resolve long-standing issues—potentially for good. What makes Neurofeedback so powerful is its ability to harness the brain's innate intelligence and healing capacity, all without the need for medication or invasive procedures. It’s a journey toward mental clarity, emotional stability, and lasting well-being.

Psychotherapy

As a trauma-informed, client centered practice, we use a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities to meet each client where they are.

At our practice, we offer a comprehensive, holistic approach to therapy that goes beyond traditional cognitive techniques. While cognitive therapy can be effective for addressing specific thoughts and behaviors, we believe that lasting healing and transformation often require a deeper exploration of the mind, body, and spirit.

Our approach integrates a variety of powerful therapeutic modalities to guide you on your journey of self-discovery and healing. From depth psychotherapy and psychodynamic therapy, which delve into the unconscious to uncover long-standing patterns and unresolved emotional conflicts, to somatic therapy, which addresses the connection between body and mind, we believe in treating the whole person.

We also offer dream work, tapping into the profound messages that arise from your dreams, allowing them to provide insight into your inner world and foster greater self-awareness. This blend of therapies creates a dynamic and personalized experience, helping you gain deeper insights, heal old wounds, and foster lasting change.

Whether you’re navigating life transitions, working through trauma, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing space where you can explore your emotions, understand your patterns, and unlock your full potential.

Meditation / Mindfulness

Meditation is a practice in which the person performing meditation focuses on a thought, mantra, object or activity to produce a calm, clear and stable state. In meditation people practice being and staying in the present moment, acceptance and a nonjudgemental mind. This is a practice of awareness, mindfulness and breath can also be a large part of meditation.

Meditation can be used to help alleviate a variety of symptoms such as stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. Sometimes Meditation includes a variety of different Somatic (body) techniques to help deepen a person’s body awareness and create lasting positive patterns.

Hypnotherapy (sometimes called hypnotic suggestion) is a therapeutic practice that uses guided hypnosis to help a client reach a trance-like state of focus, concentration, diminished peripheral awareness, and heightened suggestibility. This state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, music, or even one's own thoughts or meditations. In it, a person is unusually responsive to an idea or image, but they are not under anyone’s “control.” Instead, a trained clinical hypnotherapist can help clients in this state relax and turn their attention inward to discover and utilize resources within themselves that can help them achieve desired behavioral changes or better manage pain or other physical concerns. Eventually, a client learns how to address their states of awareness on their own and in doing so, gain greater control of their physical and psychological responses.”
